What Does Dr. Phil Think About Losing Weight?

By Peter W.L. Owen

When starting a diet program you first need to look at yourself and the way people see you. This is one of the toughest things to do. If you don't do it you won't be forced to make a change to your current life. You might have all the cash in the world to buy the best foods and train with the best trainers, but you won't be able to lose weight if you're not willing to make a dramatic change to your everyday routine.

We all know Dr. Phil and how he has helped thousands of people with almost any problem imaginable. He has also tackled one of the most serious issues in our society. Being obese is the leading cause of preventable deaths in the United States. Therefore Dr. Phil has focused on getting to the root of the problem to help normal people to break their way of thinking and to start taking control.

Dr Phil's fat loss plan explains one of the reasons people fail time and time again to lose weight. Some people manage to reach their ideal weight but gains everything back in no longer than one year. Why is it such a huge problem? We need to look at ourselves because that is where the cause of the problem lies. Your desire to change the way you look and to take care of your body should be greater than the things that causes obesity.

Being honest with yourself has never been easy. Think about it for awhile. To pass the first obstacle of Dr. Phil's fat loss plan, you need to be honest and ask yourself if you're at the point of your life where you're ready to make a change. You determine that be answering a few questions that will reveal the truth. A few of Dr. Phil's questions follow:

1.Dr. Phil's weight loss plan has a few basic principles that needs to be carefully followed. Are you willing to take the steps even if you think it won't work for you?

2.You don't need all the candy bars and sodas in your kitchen. Are you ready to throw them out?

3.Are you willing to be honest to yourself and to other when you've tried to cheat your way out?

4.Dr. Phil's diet expects you to do proper exercises. Are you willing to do that?

5.Do you realize that you're the only one who can change your body?

6.It's strange to see that so many people don't want to admit that they're overweight. Some don't see it as a problem. Do you realize that you have a problem and that you need to take action?

The answers to the above and other questions Dr. Phil provides will make it crystal clear if you're able to change. Setting goals in life is only the start of your weight loss process. The next step is to make sacrifices. Everything else around you might be set in place but you have to make it happen.

Dr. Phil's diet program doesn't start of with fancy recipes and unrealistic promises. He simply explains that the first step has to be your way of thinking. Be completely honest with yourself and others around you. Be willing to step out of your comfort zone and to make changes to your lifestyle. Always have your goal in mind and don't allow yourself or anyone else to convince you otherwise.
